Our Mining practices are delivered by Westland Mining a subsidiary company within the group whilst the head companies continue to operate Exploration Permits throughout the West Coast.
RED JACKS - ARAHURA, WEST COAST

Red Jacks consists of the Western side of the old historic Fox Creek Township in the Arahura Valley. Stage 1 of the operation has been completed with the mining of the upper terrace on Crown Estate with the 2nd stage consisting of mixed ownership private land.
Stage 1 Crown Estate mine area rehab completed by end of 1st quarter 2019.
Stage 2 Mining in the newly extended North-Eastern end to commence 2nd quarter 2020 upon Department of Conservation approval.
PAYNES GULLY - KUMARA, WEST COAST

Newly approved Mining Permit at Paynes Gully on the Northern Side or the Taramakau River in the Kumara area. This permit is on 196ha of Crown Estate in a historical rich area of the Terrace above the Greenstone area. A drilling program will commence by mid 2019 to ascertain grades along with depth to bottom.
Drilling program to commence by 4th Quarter 2020.

Welcome to the only approved Exploration Permit within the 2.6M/ha Te Wāhipounamu World Heritage Park in South Westland. This freehold pocket of 2334ha is located on the southern side of the ultramafic mineralised Cascade Plateau where explorer Alphonse Barrington attempted to start the Cascade gold rush in 1864 - Its time for Newcoast to put some ghosts to rest once and for all, was Barrington an honest prospector or dishonest drunk !!
